In November 2019, the Joint Dental Faculties of The Royal College of Surgeons of England announced plans to replace MJDF with new programmes of assessment. The announcement is available here.
In March 2020, in agreement with the 4 surgical Royal Colleges, it was agreed that we would be postponing all exams and courses until September as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak. This includes MJDF exams. We will make further announcements about the resumption of exams in due course.
Fees
The fees for MJDF are competitive with other similar exams available. Part 2 remains cheaper than MFDS part 2. If you have MFDS part 1, you are eligible to take MJDF part 2. A 10% discount on Part 2 UK exam is available to eligible candidates who have completed MJDF Part 1.
UK Fees for 2020
- MJDF part 1 £535
- MJDF part 2 £672 (or £605 inclusive of 10% discount)
